Who are we?
Carelink Qld is a support service founded by a local family and friends' network that have worked together Far North Queensland with vulnerable persons and youth for over 10 years.
Carelink QLD utilises local support workers and outreach to specialty services. We work with clients within the NDIS, Child Safety, Foster Care Respite, and Private sectors and/or alongside caregivers, family and support coordinators.
Our mission is to provide personalised supports and capacity building opportunities, linking appropriate and meaningful activities and supports to clients. We are strongly dedicated to continually evolve and constantly adapt to the ever-changing lifestyles and needs of these clients. Carelink Qld continues to grow with the support and encouragement of client's and their families we have connected with, we are listening and evolving to ensure their needs are met with purpose. Carelink Qld is always working on connecting new services, working alongside current services and activities while networking to develop meaningful engagement.

Our unique approach offers clients, carers and families a choice of experienced lifestyle and disability support workers based on likeminded interests and life stage, linking care that is appropriate and engaging, each offering individual dedicated support in areas of their own specialty and qualification.
Locations
We are local and our aim is for locals to look after locals! Encouraging community connection. Our local support staff are familiar with a client's community and culture in an ethnically sensitive manner and can also be relied upon for both logistics in transport and networking within the community. We understand that there are limitations in accessing quality care in remote locations, so we have engaged with local support workers in remote areas via trusted carer networks.
Our support services currently include:Cairns and surrounding areas, Townsville, Port Douglas, Mossman, Cooktown, Hope Vale, Weipa.
