Carelink Qld Support Workers have the special skills and training it takes to help our clients get out, dive in and experience what life in the wider community has to offer.

Everybody deserves to feel that they are part of the community they live in, including people with a disability. That can sometimes only come with the support needed to go out and engage within the local community.
We offer vast experience in sourcing and coordinating fun and stimulating social and community activities. Sometimes there is simply nothing better than a day spent away from home and exploring new places. Having support can help you to do something very different from your everyday routine. This service aims to support people with disability to achieve your goals in the community.
We take into account the needs and interests of the individual client in order to tailor activities to each person. This allows us to deliver appropriate and memorable experiences, as well as being something to look forward to. This is a funded support by your NDIS plan. Our team is always open to suggestions from our clients too, as long as they are appropriate, achievable and safe. You can use your NDIS funds in the core supports budget to support your participation in the community and socialise.

Skills Development and Training
SUPPORT WORKERS
Our Support Workers have the training, experience and enthusiasm to take clients beyond the home and help them to enjoy those things that the suburbs around them have to offer. In most cases, help with these activities can be provided by the same Support Worker who provides in-home support. Total Support Service hand-picks team members from our own staff to best meet our clients’ needs in every case.
Once again, our full NDIS accreditation is your assurance of quality support in every situation. Social and community activities take our clients out into new environments, and it is vital that the Support Worker they are accompanied by has full certification and training to deal safely with every situation. CareLink Qld's NDIS accreditation requires that each Support Worker has the training for every situation.
Regular written reporting is a mandatory requirement of NDIS accreditation. Consequently, should anything out of the ordinary ever occur during a social or community outing, you will have peace of mind. As a result, you will know the full details of every circumstance are always thoroughly logged and reviewed We are accountable to NDIS best practice and committed to the highest quality of support during your activities.
